  How it works

In order to get a preliminary bid, you will need to provide us with data on the notes that you would like to sell. The tape should be provided in an Excel spreadsheet format. See out Data Worksheet for the specific information that we require to accurately evaluate your portfolio.

Our preliminary bid is a strong indication of what we are willing to pay for the portfolio, but it is short of a firm commitment.

A bid letter is prepared and signed by us and you. The bid letter identifies the portfolio of notes, states our bid, and allows us the exclusive right to perform due diligence on the notes in the portfolio.

Mortgage Financing Solutions concentrates on buying residential and mixed-use portfolios. We purchase from individual sellers, private investors and institutional holders of cash flows. You will find that we close transactions efficiently and on schedule.
Within one business day of receiving your summary loan data, we will provide an indicative bid representing potential value of your portfolio. We will quote a price as a % of the Unpaid Principle Balance (“UPB”) of the portfolio.

When you accept our preliminary bid, we will begin the due diligence on the pool of mortgages. When we have completed the research and due diligence on your portfolio, we will execute a purchase contract and fund the transaction. It is usually possible to fund within 3 to 4 weeks of the date that we receive the documentation on the notes that were represented by the data that you initially provided us.
