•  Kanco was incorporated on 4 th October, 1991 with its registration as a company with limited liability and as part of its expansion plans, in 1998 it brought within its fold Mackeypore, Lakmijan and Poloi Tea Estates situated in the State of Assam and a Textile Mill, Kanco Overseas, in the State of Gujarat. Subsequently Poloi Tea Estate was sold in the year 1999 .
